First, it was this newspaper column that I stumbled on in my father's car. I found it weird ‘cause it's been a while since he got one. Well, I guess this was what the universe wanted me to see. My search for Fela’s wife is …over.
Wife Arrested in Connection with Husband's Fatal Car Accident.
By Olaedo Phillips.
A shocking turn of events has unfolded in the investigation into the death of local businessman, Mr. Olufela Adams, who died in a car accident last month. Authorities have arrested his wife, Molade Adams, on suspicion of tampering with his vehicle, leading to the fatal crash that happened on the 15th of July, 2024.
According to police reports, Molade had been struggling with her husband's repeated infidelity, and evidence suggests she had been planning her revenge for months. Sources close to the family have revealed that had a history of violence and intimidation, including:
- Threatening multiple individuals, warning them to stay away from her husband.
- The suspicious death of her husband's former secretary, Ms. Ifeyinwa, who died under unclear circumstances about a year ago.
Eyewitness Accounts.
- " Na true say Oga dey carry babe and madam dey always fight am. But I no know say Madam wicked like this oh. Sweet woman like that, na every week she dey give my pikin money. Nawa oh. E get one day wey she been dey fix something for Oga car but I no even reason am at all.- Bello, their gatekeeper.
- "I'm shocked and heartbroken. Fela told me I was the only woman in this life. I had no idea he was married. I feel used and betrayed. Hearing all the things she had done to Fela's past girlfriends, I think I'm lucky to be alive. I hope gets the help she needs."- Fela's latest girlfriend, Salewa.
- "I'm not surprised by what happened. Someone had been sending me threatening messages, warning me to stay away from Fela. I thought the person was just trying to scare me off, but now I realize she was capable of much worse. And I was just his business partner oh, subhanallah”. - Former acquaintance, Amina Kadiri.
-“Lade has always been like this since our school days. She once beat one girl up because she was too friendly with Fela. Most girls avoided Fela because of her, but the idiot boy kept chasing those girls. To be honest, he brought this upon himself, ‘cause everybody warned him. I'm just so sorry for their kids because ah, nawa sha.”- Fela’s close friend, Obimbe Kamsi.
According to the police, throughout the investigation and questioning, Molade showed a lack of remorse and all she did was justify her actions. She displayed a sense of entitlement and a belief that she was justified in taking the law into her own hands.
" I did what I had to do to protect my family. He was a poison, infecting our lives with his lies and deceit. I warned and begged him severally but he didn't listen to me. I'm not sorry for what I did. In fact, I'd do it again in a heartbeat if it meant keeping my children safe from his stupid girlfriends. I'm not just a wife, I'm a mother, a protector. And I'll stop at nothing to defend what's mine. I don't really care what anybody thinks about me."
Investigators discovered that Lade had researched how to tamper with her husband's car, focusing on the brake system. Further investigation revealed that she had purchased new brake pads from a local mechanic, which were later found to be installed on Fela's vehicle. The pads were tampered with, causing the brakes to fail during the drive, resulting in the fatal accident.
"We were initially led to believe this was just another tragic accident," said Detective Kayode. "But as we dug deeper, we found a trail of evidence connecting her to the death of her husband's late secretary, Ms. Ifeyinwa. Her actions were too calculated and deadly. So, we decided to not leave any stone untouched in investigating her husband's death."
Mrs. Molade Adams has been charged with first-degree murder and is currently being held without bail. The community is left stunned by the revelation, with many wondering how such a heinous act could go unnoticed.
Just when I thought it was over, I mistakenly clicked on one of these notifications from Phoenix browser and it redirected me to a crime blog.
I don't need to tell you to guess what I found again, right?
KILLER ON THE LOOSE.
By James Akuma.
Molade Adams, the wife of Fela Adams, that was charged with first-degree murder, has escaped from detention. The police authorities are stunned, confused and they've found it hard to find reasonable answers to give the press.
"We are currently investigating how this happened and are working to recapture Jane as soon as possible," said Detective Kayode to a correspondent from Awake TV. "We understand the concern this has raised in the community but we urge everyone to remain vigilant and calm. We will find her."
A massive search is ongoing with a substantial reward offered to anyone who can give any information that'll lead to Molade’s capture. The community is on high alert, with many residents expressing fear and anxiety about the situation.
"Everyone needs to be careful," warned, the D.P.O of Ibario Station where Lade was formerly held. "That woman is very dangerous and unpredictable. We don't know what she's capable of, but we know she's willing to do whatever it takes to avoid justice."
Residents are advised to lock their doors, keep a safe distance from strangers, and report any suspicious activity immediately.
As the search for Lade continues, one thing is clear: a killer is on the loose, and it's only a matter of time before she strikes again.
My friendly advice to you, if you know you've ever had any thing to do with Mr. Fela, RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!
Even if you're his mother, RUN!
