In 2022, a friend of mine posted on her WhatsApp status that she had this friend that sells e-books at the time. As the book girlie that I am, I texted the person and told her that I was interested in getting books but it will be later on and not at that particular time.( I was broke)
To cut the long story short, I had this person's contact but we didn't speak again, not until I discovered that she was a pharmacy student, and a writer too! I call her Kamsi or Mirabel, depending on my mood. To her readers, she's known as TheVintagePen and I'm not lying when I say, Kamsi is the most vintagest vintage person I've ever met. Don't laugh at my English, pleaseee. So, I decided to ask Kamsi a few questions because she's someone that has always intrigued me and I'm going to share her answers with you today!
Before we get into it though, I want to gush over Kamsi for a minute. She’s a Pharmacy student. She’s a very pretty girl. She's so kind, you guys. This girl sent me all her notes for 200level, and we're not even in the same school. She is a strong proponent for not keeping quiet about the things you want to talk about just because you’re worried it will make people uncomfortable. In conclusion, Kamsi is a lovely person and she’s single, so if you love books, R&B music, God and you have a good fashion sense, send me an email so I can link y’all up. That’s her spec.
Hi Kamsi, kindly introduce yourself to our readers.
Hi everyone, I'm Kamsiyochukwu, I'm happy to be part of today's newsletter.
I'm happy to have you too!
First and foremost, what happened to our "bookworms" club? I was seriously thinking about it last week.
Man, I miss that space so very much. I don't even know how it fell apart. But it's quite understandable because of course uni life gets tedious and no one is really free for things like that.
Yess yess, I understand that too. School actually takes a lot of time from us. It is well. So, I once heard someone say she chose to study Pharmacy because she wanted to know if it was possible to have drugs like Paracetamol in flavoured forms like Strawberry and the rest. I find things like very fascinating 'cause i don't have a story like this. Do you have a story like this or are we two twins?
I once heard someone say they wanted to study Pharmacy because they wanted to be a Legal Drug Dealer, (that person is me but let's keep it between us.)
You heard her guys, it's a secret. Let this stay between us here, tenks. Kamsi, poetry has been stealing my attention for a while now, though, it's not really my forte. But I would like to know, for you, is it prose or poetry? and why?
I could never choose because I love both, they are literary art and I could never place one above the other.
Hm, I think it's hard for me to choose too ‘cause all forms of art are equally beautiful! How do you balance pharmacy and writing? 'Cause it's almost like I loose my ability to write once I enter that institution in Igbodogi.
It's not easy, school just gets overwhelming but I still meet my deadlines. I took a break from writing but I'll be getting back to it soon... I hope.
Breaks are very important, guys. Take them when necessary.
What do you enjoy writing about, and have you written anything that relates to your pharmacy experience? I plan on doing that somedayy.
I write about alot of things, mostly about things that inspire me, like art or Canon events, and yes, we did write an autobiography about our entrepreneurial lifestyle story for a course once so I'd say that was kind of close to writing about my pharmacy experience.
I honestly don't know how but i'm of the opinion that my writing skills will benefit my future career as a pharmacist. Do you think I'm being delulu?
You’re not, I too believe my writing skills will benefit mine as well. (Of course if pharmacy has a career part in writing, else we're both delulu.) But either way pharmacy has helped my writing in some ways, like I was writing about an apothecary and through the help of pharmacognosy I knew a few herb drugs to incorporate into my story.
Glad to know I'm not alone. How do you stay motivated and organized in both your studies and writing endeavors?
Procrastination. I know it's not a good thing but I always get the work done eventually, I work really well under pressure. But asides from that, I'll literally forget everything and anything but manage to get things done, don't ask me how because, I don't even know.
Twinnnnn, where have you been?
I’ve not learnt about any drugs yet but you're my senior colleague, so I’m assuming that by now, you would have learnt about one or two drugs. Tell us about a drug that you have learned about that fascinates you.
Well... I haven't seen a drug that fascinates me yet because we're still learning the basics of Drugs, their root of administration...although we have done a few practical in making ointments, Calamine lotion, Talc powder, and some others I don't think I've been fascinated by any drug yet.
If you were to be a drug, what drug will you be and why?
Pracetamol, life is a pain.
Hm, nice choice. Can you share a favorite writing project or piece you've worked on? It could be a little part of it, pretty please.
*gasp* I love all my babies equally. But, sure.
Once, in a time unfathomably ancient, when stars graced the earth with their proximity and the wind whispered tales, the world emerged—blanketed in boundless emptiness, teeming with magic drawn from the cosmos. And amidst the cosmos, Life herself arose, traversing the expanse, bestowing vitality in accordance with the elemental forces: Air, Water, Light, and Earth.
Yet, as Life roamed, she stumbled upon a grievous revelation—her creations were perishing. It was then she beheld the existence of another akin to her, lurking in shadows, feasting upon her progeny: Death.
Life and Death were polar opposites: while Life brought forth creation, Death claimed it. They struck a pact, whereby Death would only claim a portion of Life's creations until the Earth was filled. Yet, Death's insatiable hunger led him to betray the agreement, corrupting Life's children and inciting conflict among them.
Humans were Life's initial offspring, crafted pure and vulnerable, devoid of magic. However, their propensity for discord led to the first war, leaving only a fraction of their population intact. Death feasted on their demise, while Life, unable to experience negative emotions, mourned the loss of her children...
(In James Seo's tone.) Read Cupid Royale on Webnovel... 👁👄👁 Sarah J. Mass, Please collab.
Guys, I’ve read this story and believe me when I tell you that this is good stuff! Check it out on Webnovel, ASAP!
Mirabel, what do you hope to achieve in your writing career, and how does it complement your pharmacy goals?
Compliment my Pharmacy goals? Hmm... I use it as a side income gainer, I want to be a bestseller but for now I like the little income that helps with some school and personal stuff, so...
What is your favorite quote of all time?
I have alot but here's six, I guess;
"The cadence of suffering has begun, every evening at dusk my heart constricts until night has come."— Cesare Pavese.
"I exist, in a thousand of agonies, I exist."— Fyodor Dostoyevsky.
"But how could you live and have no story to tell?"— Fyodor Dostoyevsky.
"And in that moment I swear we were infinite."— Stephen Chbosky (The perks of being a wall flower.)
"Is it better to speak or to die?"— Andre Aciman (Call me by your name.)
And also Oscar Wilde's— "My existence is a scandal."
What book will you recommend that everyone should read once in their lives?
A little life, Perks of being a wall flower and All the bright places.
This girl knows ball, you guys! These three are my absolute faves!
Okay, I think that's all the questions I have for you, but before we end this, I have some "Would you rather?" questions for you? Are you readyyy?
Yes.
Would you rather have the ability to take a picture of your dreams or be able to record your thoughts?
Record my thoughts.
Would you rather have a photographic memory for pharmacy knowledge or be able to write a bestselling novel?
This is difficult, I can't pick.
Sameeee. It's tricky! Would you rather have severe cramps on your wedding day or on your final Pharmacy exams?
Easy, on my final exams.
Lastly, the best advice you've given me so far is to be a rebel and embrace chaos, that statement is etched in my brain for life. What is the best advice someone ever gave you? Give my readers and I.
Best be a giver than a receiver, life will never remain the same for you.
Thank you so much for sparing us your valuable time, Kamsi. Can you please share your socials in case our readers want to connect with you and your writings?
Okay.
I'm Cult of Fyodor on tiktok and Instagram

Thank you for having me Faith! ❤️
I one told someone that I wanted to become a science journalist. I had a journalism phase, you guys. I think it's safe to even call it a dream ‘cause I was quite passionate about it. Carrying out researches, writing articles, interviewing people and writing exclusives about them; all of these caught my attention at that time. I was reminded of this dream some months ago and I’ve decided to pursue it again. Is this a long term dream or a short term dream? That's up to God to decide but for now? Welcome to… I don't know what to call this, sorry!😂
I'm really excited about this one and it doesn't even matter if this is the only one I end up doing.( It won't tho, plans are in motion) It will sha go down in history that Chloe interviewed someone and wrote about it. I even made a cute cover art.😂
I know this interview might not be as conversation-like as others might be. That's because it was done via text. I basically just sent her the questions and she answered them. Apologies to anyone that didn't enjoy this letter because of that.
Just so you know, I plan on making this into a series on this newsletter. So, right now, this newsletter features fiction, non-fiction, poetry and interviews. Woohoo! Glory to God! Anyways, I'd really love to know what you think about this one in the comment section. You can also let me know, if you have any suggestions on making these interviews better. I’ll be really grateful. I really hope that you enjoyed this one and I wish you a beautiful week ahead.
Thank you for reading, my love!
Till next week, byee!🎀
At least, when Kamsi blows, you people will testify that I was the first to write about her.😂😌❤️🚀
Tears Inna my eye, my girll! I love this sm! 🥹💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗
But first of all, how does one comment on a paragraph cause I have a lot of side comments to make. 🤣🤣🤣
